Karen was my supervisor at Lifeshare for many years. I learned so much from her kindness and common sense. I missed her when she retired and prayed for her recovery often. Both my parents died from cancer, so I know how that goes...when I heard last week that Karen had passed, I couldn't help but cry for our collective loss. God bless her, and her family. We share her love of horses/farm living/4H and helping others living & loving life. She will always stand out in my life as someone who truly cared and sincerely helped...going the extra mile ❤️

To Karen's children....I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. I worked with her for many years at Head Start. She was one of the strongest advocates for the children and their families. She spoke of her children often, and when her Grandson Noah was born she just beamed with pride. She was a great lady and will be missed... Sincerely, Linda Desjardins
