I met Sherm through Paula while working at DW Small. I remember the black rabbit that Sherm had the salesman put a huge red bow on when delivered! I got to become part of their family and stayed with the kids in what was to become their dream home. I was truly blessed to become friends with this wonderful family. Sherm will be missed but will live on through his grandchildren. My heartfelt condolences, Paula and family.

Hi Paula, This is Clive Farrin from Boothbay Harbor. You propably don't remember me. I met you in 1984 when I was on my way to Nova Scotia riding a 360 Honda motor cycle. I spent one night with you and Sherm when you were living up over the Black Barn Restaurant in Trenton. The next morning I rode to Bar Harbor to get on the Blue Nose. I think I spent another night with you guys on the way home. I'm real sorry to hear the news of Sherm's passing he is one of my favorite friends from the N.M.V.T.I. days. Although I haven't seen him in all those years I thought and spoke of him often. I'm going to miss him and feel bad I didn't make a better effort to look him up. My thoughts are with you and your family. My best to all, Clive Farrin

paula, jim, tracy, sara, family, let me tell you my memories of sherm damon. sherm is one of the good guys. when I was growing up in n.e. hbr., sherm was one of the very cool older kids I looked up too. sherm had a very cool hot rod car with the name "mothers worry " painted on the side. I remember when sherm became a maine state trooper(very cool). i will remember sherm's quick dry humor ! sherm was always putting the sh-t to me. they say people tease you when they like you, i like to think so because i liked sherm. sherm gave me encouragement and advice when I needed it. thank you for that ! sherm damon will always be cool in my mind. ride on !

Sherm and I went to school together he was a year ahead. Later we worked together at Branscoms oil and then at Hoyt Richards garage. We spent many nights having our version of fun at the expense of our cars his nova and my chevelle. He was an usher at our wedding and am pretty sure he is the one who tied all the beer cans to the bumper of our car as we left for our honeymoon. He would stop to see me when he was delivering in boston when he drove the seafood truck. Always with a smile and a laugh.May you Rest In Peace.
