Obituary of Texx M. Luce

Texx Michael Luce, 65, of Hanover, Maine, passed away on January 22, 2025, after a several-month battle with breathing and heart issues. He was born on September 8, 1959, to Russell and Anita Luce and was the second oldest of eight children. He attended school in Waldoboro, Maine.

He had a lifelong passion for the outdoors, enjoying walks through nature and appreciating its beauty. In his free time, he loved being in the woods, where he dedicated time to working the land. He also cherished spending time with his children and family.

Texx had 6 children: Josh Limlaw and his partner Jessica of Stowe, Vermont, Shania Plante and her husband Kane Plante of Morrisville Vermont, Chantel Luce of Hanover Maine, Texx Luce of Hanover Maine, Sage Luce, and a stepson, Tyler Mason of Wolcott, Vermont.  His beloved granddaughter, Brooklyn Plante, whom he affectionately called “Baby B”. 

Surviving family members include his siblings: Russell Luce Jr. and his wife, Monica, of Waldoboro, Maine; Rhonda Kelce and her partner, Rusty Fadden, of South Paris, Maine; John Luce and his partner, Lori Moore, of Poland, Maine; Duane Luce and his partner, Marcy Luce, of Greene, Maine; and Russell Luce III and his wife, Peggy Nichols, of Hardwick, Vermont, Juanita Forant and her husband, Randy Forant, of Morrisville, Vermont.  And his partner Rennie Billow of Hanover, Maine. Many aunts and Uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

He was predeceased by his father, Russell Luce; his mother, Anita Berce; his brother, Todd Moses Luce; his daughter Sage Luce, his beloved grandparents, Arlene and Clarence Prior; and his other grandparents, John and Mary Luce, and Ernest Berce and Margret Greaves, his aunt, Donna Collamore. 

He was very proud of his children and his grandchildren's accomplishments. He will be missed by all of his family and friends. 

The service will be held at the Rural Cemetery in Waldoboro Maine at a later date.
