Rita M. Young 75, of Sedgley Rd. Greene died peacefully at the Anwell

Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday Jan. 10, 2025. She was born

in Lewiston on Oct. 22, 1949, a daughter of the late Roger and Annette (Busque)

Turcotte.

Rita made shoes in her early years in Lewiston and Auburn, ME. Later working for

Marden’s for many years before Retiring. She enjoyed traveling to 48 of the states with

her husband Jerry as he drove truck. She loved frogs and throwing the family

gatherings and Holidays.

She is survived by her three children. George Turcotte and Wife Lisa of Hartland, ME

and FL. Marie Arsenault of Greene, ME and Brian Arsenault and Wife Jamie of Stuarts

Draft, VA. Ten grandchildren, Denise, Wade, Wyatt, Matthew, Brittany, Tyler, Taylor,

Kassandra, Kassidy and Donovan. Thirteen Great-Grandchildren and two Great- Great

Grandchildren with one on the way. Also, her brother Richard Turcotte of Johnstown,

NY and sister Susan and husband Jospeh Whitesock of E. Grand Forks, MN.

She was pre-deceased by her husband of almost 39 years Jerome Young, her Mother

and Father Annette (Busque) and Roger Turcotte, a brother Paul Turcotte, a Sister-in-

Law Marcia, a daughter Annette Lane and several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

There will be no service at this time and Rita will be brought home to Greene.
