Phyllis Ann McAlpine-Emerson Obituary

We are sad to announce the death of Phyllis Ann McAlpine-Emerson, 52, of Milo, Maine, who passed away suddenly on December 14th due to car accident-related injuries.

Phyllis was born in Ellsworth Maine to Royce McAlpine and Joy Emerson. She is predeceased by her dad, David Emerson, and survived by her longtime partner, Victor B. Dorr; her daughter Kimberly Corbin; her son Michael (Moriah) Corbin, her stepson Victor M. Dorr; her grandchildren Aubrey, Patience, Victor, Valerie, David, Ava, Kelsey, Anastasia, Elijah, Jeremiah, Eli, Olivia, and Mia; and her sisters Jeanne (Adam) Cloutier, Brenda (Al) Varnum, Tasha Tracy and Barbara (Troy) Ward and her brother Jason (Tynna) Hinckley; Victor’s mother Hazel Hallett, Michael (Lisa) Donavan; best friend Wendy.

Phyllis was a caring, giving person who always had time for her family and many friends. She loved nothing more then a get together, where she could brag about her kids and grandbabies. She was a beautiful, kind soul who always had a smile and a laugh for the children, who found her very funny. Phyllis was a sweet woman with unmeasurable love for her family. She was an avid football fan and a lifelong follower of the Miami Dolphins.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Phyllis on January 12, 2025 at the Edward K. Arey Community Center, Bucksport, 2-5 pm.
