Obituary of Donald James Busald

Donald J. Busald of 1 Avocado Ln lot 369, Eustis, FL 32726, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 at the young age of 73, surrounded by his family and friends.

He was born in Pawtucket RI, the son of the late John and Mary D (Whipple) Busald. He served in the United States Air Force. Part of his service was stationed in Viet Nam and was honorably discharged.

He leaves his son Sean and Daughter in Law Heather (Bonneau) of Rhode Island, two grandchildren, Logan and Raegan, four sisters, Eloise Agin, Marsha Busald, Candi Busald and Roxanne Lambert, nieces, nephews as well as some great nieces and nephews. He is preceeded in death, his brother J. William Busald.

He loved to fish, hunt and cook.  Donald was better known by the nickname 'Buttons', especially at Southern Palms in Florida where he would spend the winter months playing shuffleboard with all his snow bird friends. He spent his summer months in Maine, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with his life long friends from Coventry, RI.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetary, in Exeter, RI.  Please arrive by 9:45am (15min service held at 10:00am Sharp). Followed by a celebration for life, at the Coventry Men's Club, in Coventry, RI at 11:30am.
