Obituary of Judith A. Fischer

Please share a memory of Judith to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Judith A. Fischer, 68, of Wilton passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family and loved ones on July 1, 2024, after a short battle with cancer.

Judy graduated in 1974 from Mt Blue High School in Farmington. She worked several jobs including early childhood development, ICT Group, and Leap. In 2012 she graduated with her Associate's degree in Medical Assisting and went to work for Dr. Johnson in Farmington. She was a member of the Methodist church in New Sharon and enjoyed going with her mother and volunteering for the church suppers.

For anyone that knew Judy she had a big heart and a kind soul. She put everyone before herself and touched many people’s lives. She will be forever loved and missed.

Judy enjoyed yard saling, crafts, cooking, kayaking, camping, fairies, gardening, birds, and family. Christmas was her favorite holiday because she was able to give to others.

Judy is survived by her sons Matthew Marble his companion Nicole Cox, Michael Marble, and wife Nannette, Scott Baker and his wife Karen; her lifelong companion Richard Starbird and his children Jason and Elise Starbird, Joseph and Liz Starbird; sister Linda Stevens; several grandchildren Michael Jr., Aiden, Devon, Jack, Colton, Summer, and Jordyn were her pride and joy.

She is predeceased by her father Theodore Fischer, Mother Nadine Merchant Fischer, and Brother Theodore Fischer Jr.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date at Jim Pond TWP.
