Obituary of Michael Kenneth Beal

Michael Kenneth Beal, Age 77 of New Sharon, Maine, passed away on April 6, 2024 in Augusta Maine.

Graveside service will be held on April 17, 2024 at 14:00 to 14:20. Location is Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 143 Blue Star Ave, Augusta, Maine. Direct Cremation of Maine will be handling the burial arrangements.

Mike was born in Farmington, Maine to Harold, Sr. and Shirley Beal,  on 02/26/1947. He went to Oceanside High School in Oceanside, CA until joining the U. S. Navy at age 17 in November 1964. While in the Navy he was stationed in Vietnam on two separate occasions. Shortly after leaving the Navy he rejoined his family to become a gang of gunfighters known as Los Hermanos Cinco. They performed in such places as Calico Silver Mining Town and Saddle Club in Rancho Bernardo, CA. He then became a commercial driver hauling a multitude of commodities across the country. He drove for 37 years and retired in 2009. Throughout his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, and taking family trips. What he enjoyed most was spending time with family and friends.

Mike is survived by his daughter Ginger Fails and husband Walter of New Sharon, ME and Grandson, Camaeron Fails of New Sharon, ME. daughter Terri Smith of Winchester, VA. granddaughter Kimberlyn Smith of Tennessee, brother Eric Beal and wife Debbie of Belfast, ME, brother Bruce Beal and wife Patti of Farmington, ME, brother Kim Beal of Olympia, WA, long-time companion Joyce Tibbetts of Jay, ME and many nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his wife Sharon Beal, father and mother Harold and Shirley Beal, sister Patricia Beal, brother David Beal, brother Harold (Sonny) Beal, Jr.
