If you knew Kathie, even a little, you knew that she had a quick wit, (sometimes a little caustic, inspired by Dorothy Parker, one of her literary heroes), and was often Very Funny, with a boatload of 'Attitude'.
Now, if this transferred correctly, above the color picture of Kathie as we knew her, (multi wrist- bangles and all), is a b&w photo of 'Little Kathie'.
Look at this very young girl's expression. The up-turned corner of her mouth, smirking more than smiling, and the eyes, glancing mischievously & knowingly sideways - does this kid have Attitude or what?!
I love this picture, because it SO CLEARLY foreshadows the person she will grow up to be! Sassy, sarcastic, and SO funny!
I surely miss her...
