Obituary of Eugene Timothy Pease Sr.
Eugene T. Pease Sr - “Tim” (76) passed peacefully in his home on February 26th, 2024. Tim was a beloved husband, father, “ampa”, “great ampa”, and friend. Tim would not only make you laugh until your stomach hurt, but he would also take the shirt off his back to help anyone, Tim spent 39 dedicated years working for the Town of Northborough, MA as the superintendent of the cemetery. Tim spent his time hunting, fishing, riding his tractor, cutting wood, making superior landscaping and gardens for their home, and ensuring his family was cared for. Tim always had a way with words and sayings that you could never forget. Expressions that might be a little too colorful to write. Every friend of Tim and Faye’s, even of their children's and grandchildren’s friends has a story or two from Tim that will sit with them probably the rest of their lives. Tim and Faye took on the great responsibility of not only raising their own two sons but also raising their two grandchildren. A sentiment that will never go unappreciated or unforgotten. Tim gained the name “Ampa” as his oldest granddaughter was unable to say “Grandpa” and that’s where “Ampa” was born. It stuck with all of the grandchildren and their friends. Ampa was a name that was common to hear at least once a day in their North Union household. A man who would always have a deer hanging in the garage every hunting season, a man who would come pull your car out of a snowbank and zip tie the bumper to the hood of the car and drive home, a man who was so dedicated to helping and loving anyone in his life. There will not be a single day that goes by that he will not be missed by many.
Tim is survived by: Faye Pease (Wife), Tim Jr Pease (son), Roland & Rachele Pease (son and daughter-in-law), Meghan Pease (granddaughter), Dylan O’Riley (grandson), Kara Pease (granddaughter), Dustin Young (great-grandson), Douglas Pease (brother), Priscilla & Jackie Pierce (sister and brother-in-law), Diane & Pat O’Brien (sister and brother-in-law), Adele & Dennis Ripley (sister and brother-in-law), and Daniel & Jill Pease (brother and sister-in-law). There are no services for Tim as this is what he wished. The family has asked that any donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Foundation.
