Dolores Isabelle Obert

May 19,1934 - February 21, 2024

Norridgewock- Dolores Isabelle Obert passed away Wednesday February 21, 2024 at Woodlands Memory Care in Madison with family by her side. Dolores was born in Norridgewock on May 19,1934 to Clarence and Alice (Wescott) Buzzell. 

   Dolores raised her family in Norridgewock with her husband Gordon Obert Sr. Together they had 10 children and Dolores was a homemaker and raised her children. She loved having her family around for visits and gatherings. She spent her time watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many others in the area. 

  Dolores was passionate about her flower gardens. She enjoyed walking through the garden and telling people all about the flowers. In the winter you could find her decorating for Christmas. Every inch of her home inside and out would be decorated. 

  Dolores was pre deceased by her husband Gordon Obert Sr, her parents Clarence and Alice, siblings Albert, Harold, Merle, Donald,Louis and Ruth. 

Dolores is survived by her twin sister Doris, her children Tina Mathieu, Bruce Obert and wife Denise, Vicki Abbott and husband Michael,  Toni Steward and husband Donnie, Rex Obert, Denis Obert and wife Joanne, Gordon Obert Jr, Barbara Obert, Evelyn Ireland hand husband Steve and Ron Obert. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. 

The family would like to thank Woodlands Memory Care of Madison as they cared for Dolores for the last 2 1/2 years as she battled Dementia.
