Obituary of Janice Hallett

Janice Marie Hallett 

April 28, 1965 - February 8, 2024

Janice passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with cancer. 

Janice was a free spirit and could light up a room as soon as she walked in, with her infectious smile. Janice would not allow you to be sad or allow you to have a bad day. She would go out of her way to make sure you put a smile on your face.  Janice loved being outdoors camping, exploring, taking long rides, and beach walks. She was always ready for the next adventure. Janice enjoyed crafts, cooking, concerts, music, and sharing her wisdom with the next generation. 

She is predeceased by her mother Lillian Lennox and Father Frank Newhall, Three brothers Robert Cookson, Richard Cookson, and David Newhall. One sister Patricia Hall and a very special pet Batman. 

Janice leaves behind 4 daughters Krysti Hallett, Ralene Grant, Jessica Maddocks, and Tonja Jones. Janice has 8 beautiful grandsons: Caleb, Joshua, Logan Leyton, Addison, Lucas, Lyric, and a very special grandson Dominic Hyatt; Janice and Dominic were inseparable. Janice created a special bond with her many nieces and nephews and created so many precious memories that will never be forgotten. Janice leaves behind a very special friend and companion Jay Harjula. Jay supported her through her battle with cancer, she enjoyed going for rides and exploring with Jay during her battle. Janice has 3 sisters Nancy Moody, Elaine Mckee, and Sharon Secotte. Janice has many friends she leaves behind.

Janice leaves us all with many memories and when think of Janice you immediately smile because you instantly remember an adventure she led you on.
