Craig Alan Dixon Obituary

Winslow- Craig A. Dixon, 70 of 510 Augusta Rd., Winslow, died of health complications on January 11th, at Goudreau’s Assisted Living home where he was a resident.


He was born in Wareham, Mass., on October 25, 1953, the son of Donald H. and Shirley A. Trich Dixon. He was educated in Bath schools. Following graduation he joined the Coast Guard and served in Conn. and later transferred to Boothbay Harbor, Me. After serving in the Coast Guard he moved to Wilton, Me. and worked as a motorcycle mechanic. He enjoyed his life in Wilton, with his brother Mark Dixon and many friends. He later moved to Florida and established a ceramic sculpture and plant nursery business. He enjoyed growing flowers, plants, and painting his sculptures. In 2002 he moved to Maine to be with his sister and family.


He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Susan Hardison and brother-in-law Clifford Hardison of Durham, Me.; a niece Amber Hardison of Portland, Me.; a nephew Mathew Hardison of Lewiston, Me.; and a half sister Mrs. (Patrick) Dianna Morin of Brunswick, Me.
