Obituary of Peter Pluntke

Peter Pluntke, 77, of Solon, died on January 9, 2024 at his home.  He was born in Berlin Germany on June 4, 1946. Peter moved to America in 1959 with his mom Nina Rivetti, where he became a naturalized citizen and lived in New York. Peter served in the military, he played professional soccer, and he was an avid Arsenal fan.

Peter held many different jobs around the Country and Europe. But for the last 30+ years he worked locally for New Communities as a DSP. Peter loved his community and made many dear friends along the way he had a big love for animals and nature. Peter is survived by his wife of 32 years Susan Pluntke, and their daughters Autumn Pluntke of Stoughton MA, Morgen Pluntke and Emma Pluntke of Solon ME. His sisters Anna O’Shea and Lark Rivetti Babcock, in-laws, nephews, nieces and his loving pets.

There will be no formal services held, and in lieu of flowers make donations out to the Somerset Animal shelter at 123 middle RD, Skowhegan Maine 04976.
