Obituary of Alexander Donald Lloyd Merchant

Alexander Donald Lloyd Merchant. Auburn. Alex 49, passed away at CMMC on December 24, 2023. He was born at the same hospital on September 12, 1974, the son of Lloyd Merchant, and Ann Richard.

 

He graduated from Edward H.S. in 1994. He worked for the City of Auburn, Chapman Trucking, B.I.W, L.A.Harley, and John Deere. His hobbies included being a big fan of The Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics. He enjoyed coaching football, fishing, and riding his Harley until the snow hit the ground.

 

Alex was known for his big heart and Love for his family. He was a man of many stories. Some factual and others not. All that would draw out inspiring conclusions.

 

He is survived by his parents Lloyd and KimBeth Merchant of Turner, and Ann Richard of Auburn. His Fiancé Kim Berube of Auburn, children Camron, Alex Jr., Layla Merchant, Adam Smith, and Joshua Stark. Siblings Ernestine Beckim and husband Eric of Manchester, Amanda Leclerc and husband Todd of Greene, MyKayla Barnies and husband Tyler of Turner, Craig McCann and wife Jodi of Leeds, Jeff Libby. Grandchildren Aubrey, Hunter, Amiya, Alaia

 

Alex is predeceased Grandparents Lottie McKay, Lloyd, Ernest Merchant, Mazie Nadeau, Robert, Ivis Rodrigue, and Papa Jeff. As well as daughter Kelzie Caron

 

Celebration of Life will be held on January 20, 2024, from 1-4 PM at Boofy Quimby Memorial Center. 96 Howes Corner Rd. Turner, Me.
