Obituary of Helen Etta Trask

Oxford: Helen Etta Trask, 74, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at the hospice house in Auburn surrounded by her loving family and friends she was born in Portland on November 19th, 1949.

The daughter of Bernice Huston and Clarence Jack Grant. She was a wonderful mother, sister, nana, great-grandmother, and special aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was devoted to her family. She worked at Jones and Vining and other local shoe shops. She loved opening her own business Helen's used furniture. She was a member of the Acme Club and Cavaliers Club. She loved cards, dancing, camping, crafts, holidays, and jeeping. She loved spending time with her family. She met the love of her life Joe Figueroa who had preceded her. She loved being at home with her loving daughter LaurieAnn whom she resided with for many years.   

She is survived by her children Laurie Morneault of Oxford, Roland Duchette Jr of Green, Shirley Morehouse of Rumford, stepdaughter Darlene Vigue, Belinda Fortier, her grandchildren Crystal, Lloyd, Daniel, Hannah, Drew, Travis, and great-grandchildren Tyler, Haleigh, Bentley, and sister Maryann Hutchinson.       

Mom you will be missed by so many  But you will never be forgotten. We love you, Mom.   

A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion 426 Washington Street Auburn on February 3rd from 2-6 pm.
