In loving memory of Ronald T. Weaver

On Tuesday, September 26, 2023, Ronald T. Weaver, age 79, passed away peacefully at his residence in Camden ME. surrounded by family. Ronald was born June 11, 1944, in Rockland ME. He grew up in Friendship and later moved to the Camden area.

He is preceded by his mother Doris Delano of Friendship, Grandparents "Pudgy" and Bernie Prior of Friendship, and sister Volene Creamer of Waldoboro.

He is survived by his aunt Josephine Austin of Union, cousin Daren Austin of Union, cousin Candy, and husband Bill Benner of Montville. Brother Larry Delano of Rockland and sister Norma Staples of Warren. His children; daughters Ronda Vergus of Florida and Aprilanne Keller of Hope, son Leonard and wife Eileen Ames of Hope, son Michael and wife Melissa Mank of Hope. Daughter Julie and son Matthew Weaver of Rockland, son John and wife Mindy Weaver of Kentucky. He also had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ronald worked for his own excavation business, was a firefighter and police officer for the town of Rockport, worked for the Rockport town garage, and was a truck driver. For the past 40-plus years, Ron worked alongside his best friend Bob French for S.A.D 28 school dept. as a bus driver and mechanic. Ronald had a huge love of baseball and enjoyed collecting model cars and baseball cards. He loved his morning outings to his favorite breakfast spots; Marriners, Rockport Diner, and Offshore Restuarant. He loved the waitresses and many thanks to them. He will be remembered for his incredible sense of humor and his hard work.
