Obituary of Fred L. McKinney

Fred L. Mckinney, 54 of Leeds, Maine earned his wings on Tuesday, September 12 2023.  Fred was born on July 26, 1969 to Earl & Doris (Blackstone) McKinney in Brunswick Maine.

After graduating from Freeport High School in 1987, Fred went on to work at Eastland Shoe in Freeport with most of his family. Fred went onto work at different jobs, loving cooking the best, before he became disabled in 2001.

In 1994, he met the love of his life, Rhonda Burgess in Brunswick, Maine. They married in 1995 and went on to have two children together, Ryan and Cody.

Fred was predeceased by his parents, grandparents, his stepdaughter Michelle, many aunts, uncles and a special cousin Evie.  He is survived by his wife Rhonda of Leeds, son Ryan and significant other Brooke of Leeds, son Cody and significant other Luci of Lewiston, stepson Richard of Lisbon, and Papa's grandbabies Ryan Jr and Phoenix both from Leeds.  He is also survived by his brother Earl and his wife(Gwendy) of Bowdoinham, brother Merle and his wife (Pauline) of Windham and his special budz cuz Kevin and cuz Johnny.

There will be no service as a last wish of the deceased, and a private family burial will follow in the spring.  Memories and condolence may be shared on his tribute wall.
