Obituary of Mark Carl Moholland

Mark Carl Moholland passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2023 at the age of 61.  Mark was born on February 6, 1962 in Eastport, Maine to Reid and Gladys (Brown) Moholland.

Mark was a kind, compassionate and loving man who never met a stranger.  He was the life of the party and could keep everyone laughing, even at his own expense.

Mark grew up in Eastport, Maine before moving to Machias, Maine in 1976 .  After graduating high school, Mark entered into the Merchant Marines, a  job he really loved.  He moved to St. Thomas, USVI where he worked with his brothers Kim Moholland and Alan Crosman.  He loved the island life and spent many years there.  He eventually landed in mid-coast Maine where he worked in fishing and lobstering before starting his own Tree Care business.  Mark loved his job and was exceptionally good at what he did.  Mark believed in living life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In his free time you could find him at the lake jet skiing, fishing, going out on the pontoon boat, riding four wheelers and snowmobiles or helping out a friend. Mark was a kind and giving soul who truly would give you the shirt off his back.

Mark was predeceased by his parents, Reid and Gladys (Brown) Moholland, brother Chester Moholland and brother-in-law Michael A. Brown Sr.  He is survived by his partner Kelli Robinson, brother Kim Moholland (partner Tiki Ferguson), and sisters Ellen Brown , Holly MacNichol (Stanley) and Alan Crosman (Carol).  His is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  He is also survived by his good friend since high school, Doug Lord and one of his best friends, Johnny Willis of Florida..

There will be a funeral service in Eastport, Maine in June, 2024, exact date to be determined.
