Obituary of Carter Roel Mann

Carter Mann, 76, of Camden passed away on July 8th at Sussman House in Rockport after a long evening surrounded by his immediate family. Carter was born at Camden Hospital on May 8th, 1947 and grew up in Camden with his parents, David and Sally Mann, and his younger brother, Eric. He spent the majority of his adult life in Camden and Rockport. Carter is survived by his daughter: Sarah Mann, grandchildren: Tessa and Ewan Byrnes, brother: Eric Mann and Eric's children and grandchildren: Katherine, Frank, Phoebe, and Leland.

Carter will be remembered for his enthusiasm for multiple hobbies, his impressive engineering and design skills, his love of being in the woods and on the water, his quick wit and frequent habit of inserting an amusing anecdotal story into conversations, and for a sense of wonder that didn't fade.
