Obituary of Dominique Osceola Harrington
Dominique Osceola Harrington passed away at the age of 29 on Monday, October 24, 2022. Dominique was a caring, humorous, intelligent, and industrious man. He was a father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and a friend to everyone he met.
Dominique worked in construction, painting, and food service management. He worked hard and took pride in his work, receiving many promotions.
Dominique became a voracious reader at an early age, an admirable quality that never left him. He loved flying, a passion he discovered while a member of Civil Air Patrol, and was brave to be the first to fly a glider he built with other members. Dom loved helping people any way he could, volunteering at festivals and was skilled at fire poi.
Dominique was rarely seen without a contagious smile on his face. You couldn't help but smile when you saw him light up a room. Dom was compassionate, exceptionally accepting of others always seeing the best in them. Dom was forgiving to a fault. He loved everyone and loved being surrounded by his family and friends.
Dom is predeceased by his grandmother Diane (Dupuis) Hopper, his grandfathers Richard Hopper and Rudolf "Ralph" Schott, and his great grandmothers Gertrude "Gert" (Dube) Dupuis and Martha "Otelia" (Pressey) Harrington.
Dominique is survived by his children Rayna-Maeve and Angelo, his parents Marc Harrington and Julie (Hopper) Harrington of Hallowell, Maine, his siblings Danielle Vaudreuil, Chantal (Charles) Anuegbunam, Adrian Harrington and Jaiden Harrington, his grandmother Phyllis Schott, four nieces, one nephew, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life and reception will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 12 at Manchester Community Church, 21 Readfield Road, Manchester, Maine.
A fund has been set up for last expenses and for the benefit of his children Rayna and Angelo. Https://www.gofundme.com/f/dominique-harringtons-funeral-expenses?utm_campaign=p_lico+share-sheet&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=customer
