Obituary of William R. Conroy
WILLIAM "BUTCH" RONALD CONROY, 75 of Pittsfield, died unexpectedly October 22, 2022 in Troy. He was born June 14, 1947 in Derby, Connecticut. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and brother-in-law.
He is survived by Marge, his wife of 50 years; his daughter Jo-Anne Lydem; grandson Tyler Lydem; granddaughter Chelsea Lydem; sisters Sandy, Patricia, Margaret, Linda all from Connecticut as well as several brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
He loved watching NASCAR racing, boating and fishing with his best friend Dave Walsh of Connecticut.
He enjoyed being a volunteer driver for WCAP for many years. He always had a smile with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by many. We love you Hubby, Dad, and Grandpa! A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
