Obituary of Arthur C. Tillson

Arthur Clyde Tillson, 60 of Augusta, passed away peacefully on October 13th at Glenridge Nursing Home following many years of declining health. Arthur was born on August 18, 1962 in Augusta to Walter (Gus) and Effie Tillson. He attended school in Oakland, Maine.

Arthur was a small engine mechanic for most of his adult life. He worked with his hands and could fix just about anything. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Arthur was predeceased by his mother Effie, sister Roxanne, daughter Amanda, and infant son Eric. He is survived by his wife April of Augusta, father Walter Sr. of Sidney, brother Walter Jr. of Windsor, Tom and wife Tammy of Sidney, Jack of Sidney, Tim and wife Beth of Connecticut, his children Joseph, Jessica, Jacob, and Cerah and her children, grandson Caleb, stepchildren Brittany, Michael, and Courtney, step grandchildren Arya and Jeffery, and several aunts, uncles, nephews, great nieces, cousins, and friends.

There will be a celebration of life on Sunday October 23rd from 12-4 at DND Disc Golf 214 Philbrick Road Sidney. We will be doing a potluck lunch. Please feel free to bring a dish. Arthur would want us to have a good time telling stories and enjoying good food.  Memories and condolences may be shared on his tribute wall.
