William Joseph McLain Sr.

William (also know as Big Bill) passed in the early morning on February 28, 2022 at Maine General Medical Center(Thayer Unit). He was born at his grandmothers home in Clinton, Maine November 16, 1961 to Inez and Clarence McLain Sr.
He attended school in Clinton and Fairfield.
In his younger years he liked to go and participate in the boxing matches at the Waterville Armory. Billy worked as a painter a trade he learned from his dad and doing construction. Loved to cook. He enjoyed swimming at the bridge with his siblings and cousins growing up he had many fun filled days there. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends. He was always there to lend a hand. A friend to many.
He was predeceased by his father Clarence McLain Sr, mother Inez Moody, brothers Todd and Randy McLain, maternal grandparents Joseph and Leona Robinson, paternal grandparents Thomas and Edith McLain.
He will be greatly missed by his and Tess’s children. Son William (Little Billy) McLain Jr. and Kelsey and children Haleigh, Avah, Mason, Braighden, Lliam, and Justice. daughter, Torie and Dallas Cornish and children Haidyn, Quince, Tristen, Ashlyn, LynkN, daughter Jessica and son Owen, daughter Tiffany and DJ and daughter Malia, Brother, Clarence McLain Jr. wife Allison, sister Audrey Pottle and husband Larry, sister Cheryl Coro, brother Thomas McLain and Debbie, sister Ellen Lesperance and Don, step-mother Shirley McLain, uncle, Leon (Bill) Peavey, aunt Virginia Spaulding many nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside service was August 5,2022 with Pastor Steve Donahue officiating at Nobles Ferry Cemetery.
