Bernice (Bonnie) Beckwith, 86, of Bethel passed away peacefully on Nov 21 at the Pinnacle Rehab Center with her family by her side. She was born on Dec 25, 1934. She was a nurse's aid for most of her life. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting and dancing. The family wants to thank Beacon Hospice and everyone at Pinnacle Rehab for their wonderful care where she made many friends and especially her room-mate, Zoey. She is survived by her children: daughter Sue and Chris Pond, son Bob and Cindy MacDonald, step-daughter Roanna Beckwith as well as her grandchildren Mathew and fiance Ginny Leonard, Casey and Mathew Walker, Jamie Beckwith, Peggy and Rob Couture and great grandchildren Ryan and Tori (their mom Tennile Yanarella) Leonard, Ty, Xander, and Izzy Leonard, and Lena Couture. Bonnie was predeceased by her husband, Al Beckwith. There are no calling hours. Interment will be in the spring at the convenience of the family.
