My sincere sympathy to all of Nelia's family.
I have so many great memories of Nelia from Noah Webster School. I have even more from out of school times. Nelia's Dad was a delightful man who one weekend took us to Ted Hilton's Resort in East Haddam, CT. on the Salmon River. We got to use the paddle boats that were like riding a tricycle on the river. What fun! We giggled a good portion of the night when we should have been sleeping. On the way home we stopped at an antique store to bring a treasure to Nelia's Mom who loved everything antique.
I have many fun memories of Monopoly games that went on for hours because we loaned each other money so the game wouldn't end! I remember well Nelia's beloved dog, Rastus. How very blessed I was to have Nelia as a friend in childhood. Those were very good days. May you be comforted by the hope of seeing Nelia again in heaven.
