Obituary of Nancy Elaine Richardson

Nancy Elaine Richardson Nancy Elaine Richardson, 88, of Camden, ME, passed away June 30, 2021, at Sussman House. Nancy was born on January 16, 1933 in Rockland, Maine, the daughter of George and Bernice Leavitt. In 1952, Nancy graduated from Rockland High School. Later she attended North Shore Community College, graduating in 1978. She was at one time a CNA, a switchboard operator for New England Telephone, a lunch aide for an elementary school in Lynn Massachusetts as well as a clerk for Sea Crest Cadillac in Lynn. Nancy was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed attended her church where she sang in the choir, knitting, ceramics and being a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. Her favorite adventure was taking the neighborhood children to King's Beach in Lynn, MA. Nancy was predeceased by her parents; her husband Reginald Richardson; her brothers Gary, Thayer and Walter Wadsworth and her sister Margaret Shaw. Surviving are her son Kevin Richardson and wife Tracy and her grandson Wyatt Berry, all of Camden. Per Nancy's wishes, there will not be a public service. The family wishes to thank Dr. Denise Anderson, Pen Bay Medical Center and The Sussman House for the compassion, care and love they showed her.
