Obituary of Patricia Ann Hale

Patricia Ann (Whirty) went home to be with her Heavenly Father June 22, 2021. She was born in Millinocket on June 29, 1930, to Alton and Gladys (Milbury) Whirty. Patty married John S. Hale, Sr. on June 12, 1948, raising three children in Millinocket. Patty loved attending church and going to Bible Studies. She always enjoyed calls and visits from family and friends. She touched all who knew her, loved to laugh, and was a loyal friend. She was the matriarch of the family and enjoyed sharing her family’s history and stories. She leaves behind her children, Dr. John S. Hale Jr. and his wife Marcia, Robert Hale and friend Valerie, daughter Barbara Jamieson and husband Joe. Grandchildren; Brett, Casey, Joshua and wife Kathryn Hale, Lisa Healey and husband Rob, Tori Cote and husband Rod, Travis Hale and wife Megan, Brittany (Hale) Robert and husband Adam. Great Grandchildren; Kaylee Malone, Alexis and Caleb Miller, Lucas, Kameron, Khaleb, Mason, Lily, Logan, and Lucy Hale, Noah and Hannah Robert, and many special nieces and nephews. Patty was predeceased by her parents, husband, grandson BJ Hale, and two special sisters, Jackie (Whirty) Wagner and Mary (Whirty) Bigl. There will be a celebration of her life at the Millinocket Nazarene Church July 9, 2021, at 12 noon with a committal service immediately following at the Millinocket Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a reception at the Millinocket Nazarene Church following the committal service.
