Debra, Paula and family,I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. I don’t think we have met but my name is Jim Roy. My grandmother, Gladys and your grandmother were sisters. Your mom and my dad, Kenneth Roy were cousins. My dad spoke of your mom often and what great times they had as kids. Sharon Jean, my dad and your Uncle Buster were pretty close back then until they all started moving to different states. I met your mom a couple of times when they visited my aunt Shirley, ( my dads sister) in Oakland , Md. She seemed to always have a big smile and when they were all together there was a lot of laughter. I would spend summers with my grandparents as a kid and remember when Aunt Gin and Uncle Buck would come to visit. My grandmom Gladys and Aunt Gin would sing together and have such a good time. Great memories for me and I’m sure you have many wonderful memories also. Once again my condolences to you and your family.
