Louisa was born in Billerica, MA and raised in North Billerica, she was the only child of Elmer R. and Louisa K. Tilton. Her Christian faith was a driving force in her life. She enjoyed books and languages which gave her the tools to have deeper conversations about God's Word.
While raising her family on Three Maples Farm in Chester, Louisa loved growing fruits and vegetables utilizing sustainable methods. On the farm they also raised pigs, geese, and hens.
