Robert Perreault March 29, 1938-November 21, 2020
Robert (Bobby) Perreault, 82, of Springfield Me , passed away on November 21, 2020 after a brief battle with the Covid virus.
Bobby was born on March 29th, 1938 to John and Alberta Perreault in the city of Lisbon. He was the youngest of eight children all brought up on a farm. He graduated from Lisbon High School.
After graduation, at the age of 18, Bobby joined the Navy and was stationed at the US Naval Station in Newport, Rhode Island. He received a good conduct medal for his service ending in 1959.
After an honorable discharge from the Navy, he worked in Massachusetts at a Naval yard building ships for a brief time as an electrician. He then moved to Rockland, Maine where he married and began a career installing windows and vinyl siding. He even tried his hand as a lobsterman along the coast of Maine.
In his retirement, Bobby spent his time living near a lake in Springfield, where he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He liked spending time with friends, and visits with his older brother, Ron who he was close with.
Bobby was predeceased by his parents, and five older siblings. He is survived by his brother, Ronald Perreault, his sister, Vivianne Henry, and many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid, funeral arrangements will be made next spring.
