Obituary of Barbara Doak

Barbara Doak of Washburn, Maine passed away on November 9th, 2020, at Maine Medical Center. Barbara was born on November 4th, 1952, to Ambrose and Vivian Bubar in Caribou, Maine. In 1967 she met her soulmate Richard Doak, Sr. and they wed on November 8th, 1969. They had four children: Lori, Richard Jr, Scott and Michael. She is survived by her husband Richard, her three sons, Richard Jr, Scott and Michael. Two daughters in law, Samantha and Kathrine. Six grandchildren: Kaylee, Jasmine, Jacob, Shawn, Ian and Shayne. She is also survived by her sisters that were very dear to her heart, Wilma Long, Virginia Hebert, Eva Henthorn and Donna Woodard, as well as several nieces and nephews that were very special to her. She is predeceased by her parents, Vivian and Ambrose, her daughter Lori, her sister Gena Madore, her brother John Hewitt and a special brother in law, Teddy Long. “Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you’re loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.” “We think about you always, we talk about you still, you have never been forgotten, and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain, to walk and guide us through our lives, until we meet again.” There will be a graveside service for family at a later date.
