Harrington, Maine - Wallace M. Fenderson Jr., 84, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on October 31, 2020. He was born in Ashland, Maine on April 28, 1936, son of Wallace M. Fenderson Sr. and Esther (Weaver) Fenderson. He was educated in Skowhegan area schools. He was a professional barber in his early life as well as a 'Country Music Countdown' DJ for Bates College radio station in Lewiston, Maine for many years.
He is survived by his three children; Audra (Fenderson) Kearney and husband Timothy, Thomas Fenderson and wife Rhonda, and Arthur Fenderson; and many grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Wallace is predeceased by his second wife, Louise E. Fenderson; three brothers Rodney, Randolph, and Dwayne Fenderson, two sisters, Pedita Fenderson Dickinson, and Anita Fenderson Whitney.
The family will be holding a small, private memorial ceremony. The family would also like to extend their sincerest appreciation to the wonderful caregivers of the Grace Home in Harrington, Maine.
