Obituary of Eva Raymond Sibley

Eva (Raymond) Sibley, 87, got her wings to heaven on Monday, August 31, 2020. She was born on November 26, 1932, in Eagle Lake Maine. She married Alvah Leon Sibley, Jr. on January 27, 1951, and they had six children. Eva loved to sew, fish, crochet, garden and play Bingo. She created amazing crochet work that she shared with everyone. She was known to catch fish and throw them in her pocket to cook at home. She loved her family and they loved her. Eva is survived by her children, Judy and John Galinat of New Bern, NC, Gary Sibley of Burlington, ME, Jean and Robert Morton of Sangerville, ME, Roger and Doris Sibley of New Vineyard, ME, and daughter-in-law Jocelyn Sibley of Montague, MA; 15 Grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren and 10 Great-Great-Grandchildren; a sister Doris Thompson, sisters-in-law Sandra Raymond and Kathy Zinkle, and brother-in-law Francis Sibley. She is predeceased by her husband Alvah, two sons, Alvah III and Kenneth, and a great-grandson, Roger. We would like to give special thanks to Marcia and Lori from Community Health Services and April from Pinetree Hospice for the love and concern for Eva and her family. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
