To the family of James H. Christ,
Our heartfelt sympathies to you at the loss of your father. We have looked forward to chatting with Mr. Christ over ten years of compost deliveries--the last one in May of 2020. He was the most upbeat person I have ever met. He shared a love of wildlife, was deservedly proud of the quality of his compost, and took time out from his schedule to tell farming stories to us. We were both looking forward to catching up with him this year, although he had alluded to his cancer diagnosis in prior years and we worried. I am guessing that he never complained about anything. Please accept this so-belated message of appreciation for the delightful chats that he brought to us each year. I am sure that I am not the only customer who knew him for only one product, but loved his presence and wished that they could have been close neighbors.
