When we were little our Nana would get so excited to see us she would wait on a bench outside of her apartment for hours telling all the neighbors passing by about how her grandchildren were coming to visit. She would always slap her knee, smile, and wave as we pulled up to her apartment- it was a look of pure joy. It's the small things you remember the most-treasure those moments. Saying goodbye to my Nana has been one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Marilyn Frances Ellis, you have left a huge hole in so many people's hearts.
