Roger came to our house for a cookout last summer, this was the only time I was able to meet him, you could tell he was outgoing, all around good guy! My heart goes out to you in this very difficult time. Fly high among the angels Roger. Peace to you all, Andrea Gamage

My son made a lot of mistakes but finally getting his life in order. He had a great girlfriend and together they had goals and plans for the future. They were spending every weekend with his little girl. She was everything to Roger and he was trying so hard to leave the partying behind and be the dad she deserved. I loved seeing them together and doing things. Our trip to Santa's Village with Paige and Isaiah will forever be a happy memory of the time we spent with Roger. You were my last baby. A sweet little boy, ,y littlest at 7lbs 8 ozs. You keep us on our toes, my crazy wild little boy. I am going to miss you but you will never be forgotten. I will hold up the fort for Paige, Isaiah, and your brothers. I will make sure that little girl knows you always loved her. I love you Sweet Peas until we meet again.
I thought this poem was fitting for you, Roger
Alone I Will Not Be
My comfort will come from the sea.
The stillness of calm waves will gently drift by
I will be as one with the sea.
When the sun sets on the ocean blue, remember me as I will always remember you.
As the sun rises…go live life as full as can be
Apart…you and me…but be at peace for I am free.
I’ve finished life’s chores assigned to me,
So put me on a boat headed out to sea.
Please send along my fishing pole
For I’ve been invited to the fishin’ hole.
Where every day is a day to fish,
To fill your heart with every wish.
Don’t worry, or feel sad for me,
I’m fishin’ with the Master of the sea.
We will miss each other for awhile,
But you will come and bring your smile.
That won’t be long you will see,
Till we’re together you and me.
To all of those that think of me,
Be happy as I go out to sea.
If others wonder why I’m missin’
Just tell ’em I’ve gone fishin’
