Obituary of Gordon Paul
Gordon A. Paul born May 24, 1960, died unexpectedly on June 12, 2020 at the young age of 60. He was born to James Paul, Greta L (Gerow) Roberts & Robert W. Roberts, who raised him as his own.
He is survived by Belinda Wood his significant other, and love of his life. His daughters, Dawn Marie and husband, Mike. Deanne and husband, Terry. Nicoholas and wife, Whitney. Natalie and husband, Mark. Noah and partner, Kayla. Nikki and husband Zach. Fourteen grandchildren: Mason, Faith Lynn and Shianne, Gabrielle, Loren, Camron, Jackson, Jocelyn, Jarrett, Sarah, Peyton, Harbor, Bentley, and Braylyn. Brothers, Robert (Kathy) Roberts Jr. of Corning NY, Randy Paul of Dade City, FL, Anothony (Ilona) Roberts of Hineville, GA. Sisters, Debbie (Chris) Heath of Bradenton, FL, Averil (Jeff) Oswald of Cadillac, MI, Roberta Banicki of Russle Springs, KY. Many nieces and nephews. A very special cousin, Mike Gerow and many more. Special friends, Tony Smith, Stu, Debbie Skeate & family, Tony Guzetta, Ralph Bailey, Cecil Gray, Chuck, Cookie & Willie, Patty Ward, Luther Choate, and many friends. His fellow bee keepers, Ralph Garake, Steve Alderman, Eli & Dave Mendes, and Wade Fisher.
Predeceased by his fathers, James Paul & Robert W. Roberts. His mother, Greta L Roberts (Gerow), Brother, Douglas Paul. Nephews, Michael L Oswald, and Adam M Oswald.
He grew up on Watson Homestead in Painted Post, NY and worked there after high school with his dad, Robert. He worked at the mill making pipes. He moved to Florida and started working at Bell’s Dept. Store as a maintenance man. He moved to Maine. He worked for Cherryfield Foods for 11 years.
He and Belinda then began their beeing adventure, which he loved most of all. He worked for Tony Smith as a crew leader on the harvesters for the last 12 years. He also worked at Worcester Wreath. Gordie loved his Harley, camping, fishing, gardening, beeing and spending time with family and friends. Most off all he loved his grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, 06/28/2020 at 2:00 at Columbia Town Hall.
