Obituary of Paul Raymond Macomber

Paul Macomber, 73, of Hancock, ME., passed away peacefully in his home, on May 22, 2020 with his loving wife by his side. He was born October 8, 1946 to Albert “Mac” Macomber and Hilda (Rego) Macomber of Mansfield, Ma. He was a Vietnam Air Force veteran, who became a mechanic in Attleboro, Ma. for 33 years. After that, he worked at Metalor in North Attleboro, MA before moving to Ellsworth, ME. He was a hardworking, stubborn, and loving man who would do anything to help someone in need. He loved the great outdoors. Hunting, fishing, the ocean, and taking walks on the beach. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathie (Martin) Macomber of Hancock, ME., his sister Janice Macomber of North Attleboro. His five children Heather (Macomber) Almgren, of Warwick, RI, Raymond Macomber of North Attleboro, MA, Stacy (Macomber) Johnson, of Attleboro, MA, Michele (Macomber) Danforth, of Seekonk, MA, Duane Macomber of Ellsworth, ME., His three step children, Tammy Power of Killeen, TX, Donna Ray of Ellsworth, ME and Christopher Fleming of Hancock, ME. His 13 grandchildren, Shawn Kelley, Chelsea Johnson, Brandy Thomas, Hayley Thomas, Lexis Danforth, Riley Paterson, Nathan Power, DJ Power, Dylan Sargent, Marshal Sargent, Trinity Fleming, Charlotte Fleming and his special little grandson, Greyson. He also had 8 great grandchildren, Annabella Thomas, Noah Power, Lucy Power, Celeste Power, Dash Power, Autumn Power, Elijah Power, Mason Sargent and a special friend, Patty Smith. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.directcremationofmaine.com
