Obituary of Keith D. Hartford

Keith “Pete” Hartford, 84, passed away from natural causes on May 13, 2020. Pete was born in Columbia Falls, ME, son of Frank and Bessie (Reed) Hartford. Pete is survived by his loving and devoted wife Alice “Arlene” Hartford of 64 years, daughter Sally Tetlow, son-in-law Steve Tetlow, grandson Ryan Tetlow, Granddaughter Stephanie Tetlow & Rebecca Tetlow and great grandson Jonathan Tetlow He loved hunting, fishing, horseshoes and spending time with family and friends, watching the Red Sox and Celtics. Pete loved meeting new people, he made many friends and was loved by all. Pete worked many jobs, as a mechanic, truck driver and maintenance at Stinson Seafood and worked the past 7 years as a gas attendant in Cherryfield. Pete was predeceased by his parents Frank and Bessie, his brothers Norman “Pud”, Lloyd “Jack” Hartford and Sister Catherine Handy. The family greatly appreciates all those who have given a blessing, cards and calls during our difficult time. A celebration of life will be held in this coming summer.
