Jacob Ryan Bagley, 32, died unexpectedly on February 4, 2020. He was born May 19th, 1987.
He is survived by his parents Norman Bagley Jr. and his wife Carol, and mother Melissa Smith and her husband Dave Perkins. Jake leaves behind his two precious daughters, Harper and Mayla Bagley, and their mother, Lesley Chapman. He also leaves behind his sister Morgan Look and her partner Andrew Doody, sister Jenny Stahl and her husband Nick Stahl, brother Jesse Bagley and his partner Jessica Robinson, his niece Chloe, his nephews Micah, Simon, Andre, and Ryder, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and two grandmothers. He was predeceased by his sister Kristen Bagley.
Jake enjoyed life to the fullest every day. Growing up, he loved riding four wheelers, skateboards, and snowboards. When he was a teenager, he started working in carpentry. Later, he moved onto lobster-fishing and welding with his father. They worked on countless projects for local fisherman; including fabricating trap racks and cages. Jake had a knack for designing his own welding projects. His latest creation was a woodstove used for cooking.
When he wasn't working, Jake loved spending time with his two biggest passions in life; his daughters, Harper & Mayla. His other favorite pastimes included any and all outdoor adventures, cooking, making music, and hiking with his sidekick, Diesel Dog. Jake could always light up a room with his skilled guitar playing, soulful singing voice, and playful smile. His music, his sense of humor, and his good nature will be missed by all who knew him. He will be in our hearts forever. We love you, Jakey Jiggalo!
A celebration of life will be held at the Columbia Town Hall on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 1p.m. to 3p.m.
