MARGARET (WALKER) JACKSON, 83, died peacefully at home October 30, 2008. She was born May 14, 1925 in Knox, the daughter of Wilfred and Mary (Gray) Walker. She worked for many years at Stinson Canning and for Holmes Greenhouse. She enjoyed camping in her early years and in her later years enjoyed spending time with her friends having breakfast at McDonalds. She was predeceased in 2007 by her husband of 62 years, Lloyd Jackson. Also predeceasing her was her son, Wendell, a grandson J. Jeremy; three brothers, Cecil, Nelson and Harold; two sisters, Dorothy and Brenda. Margaret is survived by her son, Bruce Jackson and wife Aloma of Belfast; one brother, Gary and his wife Roberta Walker; two sisters, Mary Jackson and her husband Robert, and Irene Riley; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and her very special friend, Sparky, her dog. Family and friends may call from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, November 1st at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast. Graveside services will be held at the Smart Cemetery on Friday, November 7th at 1 p.m.
