Obituary of Jeanne T. Cole

JEANNE T. (ERHARD) COLE, 80 of Monroe, died in Belfast April 17, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was born October 22, 1928 in Jamaica Plains, Massachusetts, daughter of Edward and Hanora (Crowley) Erhard Sr. She was a secretary for Boston public schools and later at the Crosby school in Belfast. She worked part-time as a postal assistant in Monroe. Her passion was being a foster grandparent at the Monroe elementary school. Jeanne loved spending time with her family and enjoyed her work. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella at St. Gabriel’s Church in Winterport where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Edward Erhard Jr. Jeanne is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert O. Cole of Monroe; daughter Anne Marie Barber of South Weymouth, MA; sons, Robert J. Cole of Norton, MA and John J. Cole of Mill Village, PA; two granddaughters, Laura Ferretti and Anne Marie Holloway; four great-grandchildren, Lillie Grace Holloway, Colin Joseph Holloway, Faith Anne Holloway and William Lloyd Holloway; also her dear friend, Eileen and Al Marchini and daughters Mary and Annie of Monroe; many, many friends. Arrangements under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
