OSCAR H. DRINKWATER JR. 79, passed away June 23, 2009 at a local health care facility. He was born in Northport March 5, 1930 the son of Oscar H. and Esther (Mahoney) Drinkwater Sr. Oscar married Joyce Parker on August 25, 1950. He was a gifted Master Carpenter in the Camden and Northport area for many years. Oscar was also an avid hunter who was skilled with both a bow and rifle. He is predeceased by his parents and three sisters. Oscar is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Joyce Drinkwater of Northport; his children Gary and wife Susan, Jamie and wife Tracey, Kim, and Chris, all of Northport, and Jay Drinkwater of Prospect; grandchildren Joshua, Nathan, Sara, Allison, Dylan, Evan, and Tayler; step-grandchildren Daniel and Carie, his sisters Ruth Herrick and Eleanor Small, brother in laws Frank Parker and wife Gloria, and Alton Parker and wife Connie. A memorial service will be held on Monday June 29,2009 at 11:00 am at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave Belfast, Me. with Rev. Russell Bailey officiating.
