Obituary of Philip Michael O'Hara
PHILIP MICHAEL O'HARA, 65 of Vero Beach, Florida passed away September 8, 2009 in Biddeford, Maine. He was born in Boston, MA October 18, 1943.
Philip was employed over 20 years in medical and pharmaceutical sales.
He resided in Nashua, NH with his family from 1970 until 1990, and founded the Women's Wellness Center of Nashua in 1987. He was a collector and fan of 1950s rhythm and blues music and was also an avid boater on Lake Winnipesaukee. His favorite places were Meredith, NH and Vero Beach, Florida. Philip was a lifelong fan of The Boston Red Sox, The New England Patriots, The Boston Celtics and Boston College athletics.
He was predeceased by his father, Arthur J. O'Hara Sr. Philip was the loving father of two sons, Michael of Westwood, MA and Andrew of Merrimack, NH; grandfather of six, Connor, Nathan, Allison, Quin, Avery and Riley; and father-in-law of Ellen and Kimberly. He leaves behind his mother, Phyllis of Kingston, NH; his brothers, Arthur Jr. of Salem, MA, Mark of Amesbury, MA and Robert of Hampton, NH; two sisters, Joanne of Medford, MA and Janice Murray of Wrentham, MA in addition to his ex-wife and mother of his sons, Ellin O'Hara of Manchester, NH.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Those who wish may make donations in Philip's memory to Southern Maine Medical Center, attn: Development Office, 1 Medical Center Drive, Biddeford, ME in appreciation for their kindness and support.
