Obituary of Andria Farrington

ANDRIA FARRINGTON, 53 of Portland, died November 14th at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough after a long illness. Andria graduated from Deering High School and the University of Southern Maine. She was a talented artist, a master quilter and costume designer working professionally with Portland-area groups including Portland Stage Company. She loved to read, listen to opera, and was a supporter of local playwriting competitions. She worked for over 20 years as a real estate paralegal. Andria is survived by her parents, Peter MacLean and Barbara MacDougall; brothers and sisters, Elizabeth MacLean, Maxwell MacLean, Margaret Snyder and Matthew MacLean; nieces and nephews, Samuel Jenness, Calvin MacLean, Erin Speeches, Sarah Speeches, and her grandmother, Mabel Crockett. The family would like to thank the law firm of Pierce Atwood for their support, and the staff at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House for their outstanding care.
