CHARLES L. HALL SR., 82 of Belfast died November 15, 2009 in Bangor. He was born in Hutchinson, Kansas April 1, 1927, the son of Charles E. and Bessie (Young) Hall. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Charles was a good Christian man, a member of Faith Temple Church of God. He loved leather tooling as a working hobby and collecting guns. He loved to cook especially for a barbecue. He was predeceased by his first wife, Claudette and a son, Rory Gardner. Charles is survived by his wife, Carlene of Belfast; his children, Charles Hall II and his wife Mary of Belfast, Marye Moreshead and husband Paul of Casco, Daniel Hall and wife Sheila of Missouri, Daniel Gardner of Calais, Robin Gardner of Calais, Kenneth Pembleton of Missouri, Ted Pembleton of Missouri; a sister Edith Garcia of Illinois; 14 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 21st at Faith Temple Church of God, 193 Lincolnville Avenue, Belfast. Arrangements are under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
