Obituary of Blanche D. Sciacca

BLANCHE D. SCIACCA, 97, died December 13 2009 at her residence in Belfast. She was born in Rollingsford, NH March 3, 1912, one of ten children born to William and Christy (Belanger) Dube. Some of the things Blanche enjoyed doing in her life included reading and doing puzzles. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Antonio J. Sciacca and all nine of her siblings. Her survivors include her children, Mary Christ of Belfast; Christine Smith of Ft. Myers, Florida, Anthony John Sciacca Jr. of Gurnee, Illinois; her grandchildren, Marsha Oakes of Belfast, Julie Oakes of Catonsville, Maryland, Kenneth Smith of California, Dawn Lord of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; her great-grandchildren, Michael, Erica, John, Clayton, Sam and Emma and one great-great-granddaughter, Skye. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
