Obituary of Lorraine Lyons
Lorraine Lyons, 77, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2010. She was born in Litchfield, IL to Alta and Hugh Lyons. She grew up in Melrose, MA and was graduated from St. Mary of the Annunciation High School. She married Mario Santeusanio in June of 1951. Lorraine dabbled in many careers until she found her passion for real estate. Her special talent for selling Florida investment properties in Citrus Hills led her to success as a top producer for many years. Lorraine also had a great spirit for adventure, always seeking to learn new things. She loved the seashore and used her artistic talent as a painter to capture the beauty of the ocean waves and scenic coast. She also enjoyed many hobbies including photography and cooking.
Lorraine is survived by her two sons, Thomas Santeusanio and his wife Susan of North Conway, NH and David Santeusanio of Dallas, TX and one daughter, Lisa Patey and her husband Doug of Kennebunk, ME, four grandchildren, Megan Patey of Hanover, NH, Caitlin Patey of Kennebunk, ME, Tom Santeusanio of Biddeford, ME, Lyndsay Santeusanio and her husband Doug Sanborn and one great grandchild Ruby Sanborn of Casco, ME, several nieces and nephews and her former husband. She was predeceased by her parents and her three brothers, James, William and Thomas Lyons and two sisters, Marilyn Fenton and Rosanne Finney.
The family wishes to extend special thanks for the care and compassion provided to Lorraine by the staff of York Manor in Biddeford, ME and the staff of Allegiance Hospice Care.
