June Greenlaw Obituary

JUNE P. GREENLAW, 89, passed away at Harbor Hill Center in Belfast on April 5, 2010. She was born May 25, 1920 in Bradley, Maine, a daughter of Leslie and Wilda (Cooper) Merrill. June was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to being a housewife and raising her daughter, then eventually spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to socialize and made many friends along the way. First with the Coffee Club group at McDonalds and then at Dunkin’ Donuts. The last four years she had made many loving friends at Harbor Hill. She is survived by her daughter, Melody Keene and husband Jeffrey of Belfast; a son Leslie Trundy of St. Cloud, Florida and his daughter Wendy LaPinta and husband Dominic of Merritt Island, Florida; four grandchildren, Travis Keene and wife Mylee of Brooks, Kyle Keene and girlfriend Colleen Abbott of Belfast, Nicholas LaPinta and Katherine LaPinta of Merritt Island, Florida. June is predeceased by her parents; husband Byron; sister Eleanor Girard and brother Leslie Merrill. There will be no visiting hours of service. Friends are welcome to visit on Sunday, April 11th at Melody and Jeff’s home between the hours of 1-3 p.m. A private committal will be held at a later date. Arrangements under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
